Dear Mr. Johnny Raincloud,

If you could please stop hovering over the Hamilton's and move far, far away, everyone would really appreciate it. I don’t know if my sanity can take much more. I have only a few strings left that are holding me together, after those are gone….well; I am going to have to be admitted. I don't mind a little rain, but you have been pouring over us for months now. No offense but please, MOVE ALONG. Please send our old friend Mr. Sun back with his girlfriend Miss Rainbow. We deserve both of their company after your generous downpour. Also when you have FINALLY left, and you think you’ve moved far enough away… you probably haven’t, so please run away even further in our opposite direction.
Sincerely, Megan

Ok, I feel better. Hopefully Johnny will honor my request. As you can tell, I’m slowly losing my mind. This summer has been a whirlwind of things coming left and right none stop.

A super quick rundown of the whirlwind:
-broken down car=$2100 to fix (if you’re thinking OUCH! you’re absolutely right)
-Cory left to work for 9 weeks! in Texas. (silver lining=Hayden and I both survived) :)
-Cory was selling pest control, with the crappy economy it got harder and harder to sell as the summer came to an end. Even with the copious amounts of disgusting giant creature like bugs in Texas. (Seriously, they are huge and super scary gross)
-All 4 of my tires were totally SHOT and unsafe to drive on=no get away for Cory and I… there will be other times, but still bum-mer…
-Hayden is 7 months now and is turning 8 months in a week. (Obviously not a bad thing, but what the heck?! He was just my little tiny baby yesterday!)
-Hayden is also rolling, and moving everywhere! He is starting to crawl, and rock, and scoot his way into EVERYTHING. I am about to get a whole lot busier… (Also, obviously not a bad thing)
-Hayden also stopped sleeping through the night (bad thing. 'nuff said.)
-During this moving process Cory and I are: 1)Both trying to find jobs. 2)Starting up school. 3)Everything else that comes with moving(packing, deciding where to live, etc) Cory will come back and go up to Idaho Falls ASAP and he will get a job and get settled and then Hayden and I will hopefully follow sooner than later. I really want it to be an easy transition for Hayden. I don’t want to shock the heck out of him by throwing him into a whole other place. So ideally we should ALL be moved, moved by the end of September…hopefully. I swear more junk keeps coming up and it keeps getting pushed back. I just need to be patient I guess….
-Cory is on his way back home as we speak! (However on his way, in the middle of nowhere west Texas he blew a tire. And we aren’t talking little hole. I mean SERIOUS blown tire. Did I mention he is in the middle of nowhere? So that means, 2 more extra days of driving and buying yet another new tire)

(and yes this is his ACTUAL use to be tire, lovely huh?)

I could carry on, but no one wants to endure that. Heck I didn't want to so why should I make you. :) I’m so ready for everything to settle down and for us to move on and start a new chapter as the three of us. This whole situation, or situationS as the case maybe sometimes, makes me so, so grateful for our families. We would be lost without their constant love and support. My testimony and relationship with my Heavenly Father has really been shaken and tested the last few months. I know this will all make me a better person in the end and whatever we are supposed to learn from this will be for our good and will make Cory and I stronger as a couple. Thank goodness for prayer.

And now about my sweet son. Is he not the cutest ever?! I always say I can’t believe how big he is, but really... He is soo soo big and grown up. He has the funniest little personality. He is definitely a momma’s boy which I love, he gives me kisses all the time(big, slobbery wet ones) and when we are reading or Im rocking him he will stroke my face or arm or something. He is so sweet. But sometimes he is supa dupa clingy and I want to pull my hair out. I can’t get anything done sometimes. Today for example it was 4 o’clock and I hadn’t had time to do ANYTHING! I was tired of being gross and not feeling like a person. So I put Hayden in his tub (which is this blow up duck tub thing that goes in the big tub) and I got in the tub, stood in front of the shower and showered with him in there. It was interesting, but I didn’t smell anymore. As a mom, I’ve learned, you gotta do, what you gotta do.
Hayden also loves to eat. (which I know you totally couldn't tell by all the many rolls upon rolls he has) He eats so much! He will usually, not always, but usually eat one 4 oz jar of veggies and one 4 oz jar of fruit for lunch and then again for dinner. Oink, Oink. He loves, loves, to read with me. He sits on my lap forever looking and reading books. Sometimes I’m reading while he’s eating the book, but still, at least he’s around books. He loves “Good Night Moon,” and any book with animals. He loves it when I sing to him, any song about animals that counts down from 5 to 1 he loves. I’m such a proud mommy; he is so smart and is such a big, strong, healthy boy. Even the days that he is driving me insane, I can’t help but always smoother his chubby cheeks with kisses and snuggling with him before naps and bedtime. He always makes me laugh, and I love him to pieces. I am so lucky to be his mommy.

And now without further adieu, probably one too many pictures. But what am I talking about, there is no such thing as one too many pictures of the cutest boy ever! Enjoy!

ummm since he is 8 months in a week I guess I should post these 7 month pictures

whew! look at all my hair starting to grow! Its seriously so cute. Pictures don't do his blond little fo-hawk justice :)

"Why hello here baby"

KISSES!

Look at that sweet face!

Waking up from a nap!

"Mom says I have 6 months to life in here depending on how my next nap goes."

I love that face

He smiles like this ALL THE TIME! With a little wrinkled up nose...

I know its blurry, but I thought the smirk on his face was funny

Cousins
(Im so glad Eli will be close when we move to Idaho so Hayden will have a friend. Hayden ADORES Eli)

Ha ha! I finally got a picture of those two cute little teeth! Again with his funny, little wrinkled nose smile :)

P.S. I am now a digital scrapbooker! Its terribly addicting, and I blame all the rest of you talented digital scrapbookers for sucking me into this glorious hobby.

another great find and such...

ok so I really am getting behind on this blogging stuff. But cut me some slack people! Cory has been gone for 8 weeks! That why Ill look something similar to this when he gets home:

But only 10 more days till he gets home! And he will stay for a week, and then go back for 2 or 3 more weeks... And then we are done, done with the leaving, coming back, and Texas nonsense for the summer. and THEN... its off to Idaho Falls, finally. Good grief. Now to figure ot where we will live there, that's probably important. Apartment? House? Town home? Rent? Holy smokes, Im blocking that out for now... SOOO...While Cory is back we are going here:

Ummm, I’m so ridiculously excited I can barely stand it. I might be a little sick to leave Hayden for 2 whole nights(thanks mom for offering to stay with him)... but it will be so fun for it to just be Cory and I in Salt Lake, away, not having to talk about poo, and boogers, and spit up, and how much Hayden is totally the cutest little guy ever.(c'mon you know it’s true.)
Side note: Anyone know of any delicious Sushi restaurants in Salt Lake, other than the "Happy Sumo?" Sushi is a MUST on this little get away.

So my other "Believe in Pink" blog is coming, I swear... Hayden is just so so busy! He rolls from here to there and everywhere and is into everything! I am so amazed at how fast he can roll. When he crawls, which is super soon... I am in soooo much trouble. And hallelujah! I’ve informed the tooth fairy already, but he finally cut his 2 teeth at the same time! No one was happy here for weeks until they finally decided to show their cute little white heads..He turned 7 months yesterday *tear* he’s not my baby baby anymore.. I’ll get some new 7 month pictures up soon along with my blog numero dos up and going...

Until then: Look at ONE, cause I have many, of my favorite blogs:

Lame or not lame?

So I really want to get that whole blog for women... thing... place... whatever underway. If anything I am selfish and I need it for me. Especially with Cory gone I need to have some kind of out...That isn't baking or cooking. When I'm stressed I bake. Im trying to get rid of this baby gut, all the baking isnt helping. I have thought of a few names for the blog but I found this quote:

♥ I believe in pink, I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles. -Audrey Hepburn

So what about the name "I believe in pink." Or "believe in pink." hmmmm what do you think? Im still trying to think. But I love, LOVE that quote. I adore Audrey Hepburn.
The blog will be about mommy things, girly things, fashion things, awesome find things, fun things, random things, cooking things, crafty things, possibly controversial things, empowering women things, baby/kid things, all sorts of things...I think it would be great to have a place for women to laugh, cry, debate, set up play dates and girl days, give opinions, discuss, chat, be inspired and uplifted, confess, etc... Especially for me....

So what do you think. I believe in pink/believe in pink. Lame? Not lame?
