New fun things for Hayden and my new best friend

I went on a fun adventure to BabiesR'Us the other day with my Grandma, my cousin Nicole and her son Gavin. (He was quite the trooper on this little trip) It was really fun and I really appreciated all their advice and input on what is necessary to have, what is nice to have and what is totally unnecessary because I really have no clue of what I'm doing. For example it hadn't even dawned on me that I would need a different kind of laundry detergent to wash his clothes because his skin will be so sensitive for awhile. It was one of those oh duh Megan moments, of course I would need that. I had a lot of those moments. But anyway, it was really fun looking at all the baby stuff and get a start on the baby necessities. Pick up blankets, swaddling blankets, a few long sleeved onesies with the little feetie things, sleepers, a package of pacifiers, burp cloths, hooded towels, 3 new little outfits, diaper bag, carrier/car seat/stroller and base, and a high chair... PHEW!!!! Wow. Lots of stuff and a lot of info for things I need to get for my next trip. I love going shopping with my grandma and having my own little grandma day. She is so fun to be around and I love her so much. Thank you so much Grandma! I can’t wait for you to meet your newest great grandson!

I’m so excited about my new high chair and stroller/carrier combo thing. I love looking at them, especially the carrier and realizing my little baby will be in there.... in one of his cute new outfits. It's so exciting and surreal and kinda scary at the same time. I'm 6 months along right now, my tummy is getting out there and my belly button is getting flatter and flatter... And soon it will be Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas and then BOOM! Hayden's Birthday... He is going to be here super fast... CRRAZZZY! I'm excited to finally meet him and hold him. It chokes me up just thinking about it.

Here are some pictures of my new, sweet stroller combo and high chair.

My high chair folds down super easy so its not so bulky and in the way. I love it!

I started having heartburn just at night, then it got worse at night. Then it was acidy reflux yuck stuff and now its heartburn pretty much all day whenever it want's to rear its ugly head.... So everyone meet my new best friend.... Mr. Rolaids. He is with me all the time! In my purse, an arm reach away and right next to my other good friends water and lotion.

We have a love, hate relationship... I hate, hate, hate the gritty, chalkiness but I love that it makes my heartburn and stuff go away super fast! So thanks Mr. Rolaids, but honestly hopefully we won't have to be the best of friends after Hayden gets here...

I am glad you got some cute stuff for you little boy! I love your stuff it is so so cute :) Oh I am so sorry that you have heartburn that is so awful. Tums was my best friend when I was pregnant, and milanta. I had to take a teaspoon of that every night before I went to bed. I could not eat anything spicy either? That just made my heartburn so much worse.I really feel for you :( I am sorry!

Love the Mod look to it! Very cute set! Aren't you having a shower?

I had that same love hate relationship with berry flavored tums. Don't let people fool you and say "that means your baby will have a full head of hair" b/c I had heart burn daily and my son had hardily any hair at all!

Gavin- great name....especailly since my baby is a Gav Gav!

I love the polka dots! I know what you mean about the indigestion...I carried a big bottle of tums everywhere I went. They tasted so GOOD at the time! Weird!
