fat fingers and flowers

This last part of my pregnancy I have been extra hard on myself... I'm not sure why having my body become big and round has been so traumatic... I finally came to cope and be fine with it and decided I wasn't going to worry about how fast or how much weight I would put on at these last few weeks. It’s supposed to be about a pound a week! Holy Smokes! But at least Hayden will be a healthy happy, chubby handsome boy! So anyway, I finally came to this conclusion and was ok and then I go to put my wedding ring on and....

TRAGEDY! I was and am so upset! I am totally retaining some water now and some days my ring fits....and some and most days it doesn't. I hate not wearing my wedding ring, I feel so naked. Some days for some reason it goes on better than other days...and then there are days like today when there is no way its going on. Most of the time I can squeeze it on over the last chub part of my finger, but its tight and super uncomfortable. Hopefully I will be able to wear it soon after delivering...

Cory knows I've been having a hard time with all this new swollen, chubbiness and that I've been super uncomfortable. Last weekend he was so sweet and surprised me and brought me some yummy Mexican dinner, a movie, and these...

It was so sweet, and such a nice surprise! He knew I was bummed because of the whole chubby thing and then because of my cold we couldn't go out on a date. So he brought the date to me. :) I have a very thoughtful husband who always tries to make me happy and feel extra special every day. Thanks Cor, I Love You!

Oh and random question, does anyone use E.L.F. makeup? I must be totally out of the loop because I just found it online through someone’s blog. Its hecka cheap and I wonder if it’s any good and stuff... Anyone have any idea if it’s good or suggestions of what is fabulous?

Also, I'm super, super excited for the Twilight Movie. I am hooked on the books and I still have the last one to read. I am totally jealous of everyone going to the midnight showing! I am gonna see if I can drag Cory to take me, if not I might have to tag along with some of you girlies you have the same love for Twilight. http://twilightseriesnews.blogspot.com/

You have a beautiful ring and you are so not chubby women you are "with child" and beautiful! p.s my friend told me about that site and she uses it and loves it! I need to order from that site but when i run out of make up i always forget about it like a dummy! If you get some let me know how you like it! But I have heard that nordstrom and dillards might carry it in their stores so if places like that are going to carry it it must be good right?

You are going to love me! At our class this past weekend we talked about the different woes of pregnancy and swelling/retaining water was one that came up. Do you know what works for that?! An hour in a swimming pool. Just go in the water up to about your shoulders and float around for an hour. 1 hour = 2 days of swelling relief. It also makes you weightless while in the water so it takes a ton of pressure off of your back. When our instructor suggested this I thought hmm, there's an idea, but then there were women there attesting to it. They just wore sports bra/underwear in some stretchy shorts and a t-shirt at the YMCA. They said it was totally worth it. I hope you try it and I hope it helps you!
Lots of Love,
Erina

Aw that sucks! Boo to swelling! I hated water weight. But luckily it goes away fast! I love your ring too. I would also be bummed if I couldn't wear it! And like you said, it will all be worth it when you see your sweet baby boy! I have some elf makeup I ordered online, and the only place I have seen it is at Reams... weird I know. But I really like it! The only thing I don't like is their mascara.

Meg, Can you believe I made $250 on those tickets? Cory doesn't care if I go just as long as he goes. ;) How are you doing? I think I have what you had. The worst cold ever! And it really does suck to be prego and be sick!

My sisters and I are going the Saturday after it comes out! YAY! You need to get tickets, I will go again with you!!! Oh ya how come their are no pictures on your blog of you preganant?? I couldn't wear my ring for like the last two months of my pregnancy either, I think I cried when I couldn't put it on. But don't worry it all goes away, and it's worth it when you get your sweet baby! And I'd love to go to the show too, but I'm like Devyn and late in the night is just for sleeping, I went to the batman movie late and fell asleep. But maybe I wouldn't in twilight cause i'm more interested in that then batman, We'll see!

Sorry your hands are swelling. I couldn't wear my ring from six months along on. I hated not wearing my ring. My sis-in-law wears hers on a chain around her neck. I'm afraid I'll lose it that way so I asked for an inexpensive bigger band to wear. Either way, it's better than having it cut off if you end up having a c-section. Take care of yourself. Let us know if you try the pool thing for the swelling. I'm interested to see if it works!
