I should just know better to bring Kleenex's EVERYWHERE while I'm pregnant!

Savior of the World-His Birth and Resurrection
On Saturday Cory and I went to the Savior of the World Production. The youth here in our Stake have been practicing all summer for this beautiful musical called, "Savior of the World." It was so amazing! I was so impressed by the talent in this production. I really appreciate the dedication it must have taken to put it all together. The acting and the music for the play was unbelievable. I love that the church has such great opportunities for our youth to come closer to their Heavenly Father and also help others to feel of His love and strengthen their testimonies. It's definitely a comfort to me knowing that I'm going to be a mommy soon and our kiddos are going to be able to be apart of such great programs that the church provides. Especially since the world is in such ciaos and views on what is right and wrong is so skewed. The play was encompassing the Savior's birth and His resurrection. It was especially touching for me to see the actress portray Mary; she is just so sweet and humble knowing she is going to be the mother to the Savior of the world. She and Joseph never doubted in the Lord's plan. Before the second act started about Christ's resurrection they played a video. It was beautiful! The video is called, "Reflections of Christ." I have never seen this particular video before, it uses actual photos of people to help depict the story of Christ. The photographer was so talented in capturing all the images. I loved the emotion that was captured in the actors faces. I don't know what I was thinking not bringing any Kleenex's to this play, I'm a baby anyway but being pregnant also was like a double whammy. The spirit was so strong in that little theater. It was a great play and I thought I would share the video, "Reflections of Christ," and a few pictures of the play with everyone. It was so neat!

You are crazy for having not brought any Kleenex! I had a hard time getting through the play when we saw it in SLC last year when I wasn't pregnant. I'm glad you had such a good experience. It is a great comfort knowing that we have the gospel and the Savior as an anchor in our lives, and in the lives of our children, as the waves of the world continue to toss us about.

Great pictures of the play. It was such a fun night. I love your blog. It's so cute! Your wedding pictures are beautiful, especially the bride! Hope you're having a good day. The thing I can't live without post baby is a baby carrier. Sometimes they just want to be held and you have to get things done. This lets you do both. Some people like slings, but my babies have preferred my carrier to my sling. Try it on before you buy/keep one to make sure it is comfortable for you and big enough for Cory-daddies wear them sometimes too!

Oh my heck did you see the Reflections of Christ exhibit? I want to see it so bad. I hope one day I can show Christ's life in photographs like that photographer does.

hope you got my other tips, comment. As for the crying, I still have my preggo emotions. No joke. I still cry at everything. If I were to see this I would probably have to step out. I bet it was so moving!
